Bridgeway Security Solutions Merges with Conosco

New organisation will be called the Conosco Group and they plan to create new services and solutions for their customers.

Bridgeway Security Solutions and IT & telecoms company Conosco have merged their business organisations to form the Conosco Group.

Conosco provides a range of IT and communications managed services with a “strong focus” on Microsoft technologies. Bridgeway is a specialist in information and cybersecurity solutions with expertise in mobile security. Both companies’ customers gain access to the other company’s solutions and the duo says the wider resources of the combined group will enable the Conosco Group to create new services and solutions for their customers.

There are no financial details or any information about job cuts as part of the merger. Bridgeway has 18 employees listed on LinkedIn, while Conosco says it has over 80 staff across the UK and South Africa.

The integration of these companies will commence with Luca Pepere, current CEO of Conosco, as the Conosco Group CEO. Additionally, Jason Holloway is to continue acting as Managing Director of Bridgeway and join the Conosco Group Board.

According to Pepere, the merger will allow Conosco to “enhance our customer proposition and to scale our security offering”.

Holloway adds: “We believe this is a strong and complementary combination of forward-thinking organisations, allowing us to scale and deliver valuable innovations faster than before. We share the same culture and relentless focus on customer service.”

Bridgeway, established in 2011, is a Cambridge-based risk management and information security specialist focusing on mobility, cloud and security intelligence. Its customers include British Airways, the NHS and William Hill.

Conosco is based in London and was founded in 2002. It operates in various sectors, such as financial services, healthcare, insurance, law, marketing and the public sector.
