Bidnamic has unveiled a new base in Austin and fresh faces as it seeks to expand its AI-powered cloud platform in the US.
According to Leeds-based martech Bidnamic, the new office in Texas will support its existing US customer base.
The American move follows a £4 million investment by Gresham House Ventures in May and the recent appointment of Chris Underhill as chairman. Bidnamic recently hired 12 new staff for the US base and takes its total workforce over the 100 employee mark.
Bidnamic uses machine learning to assist e-commerce companies with Google Shopping adverts. Its platform is designed to predict the right price to pay for each Google Shopping click, “making it possible for our clients to outperform their competitors and drive profitable revenues from search marketing”. Clients use data generated from its platform to also predict inventory needs.

Heads of Sales Adam Ellmore and Tom Stephenson, who have worked with Bidnamic since 2019, will lead the US operation.
Liam Patterson, Bidnamic CEO and Co-Founder, comments: “Google Shopping has become more competitive, so companies are looking for cost-effective ways to optimise their offering.”
The firm was founded in 2018 and has worked with 700+ retailers and brands since its launch. Its US clients include lifestyle brand Volcom and fashion marketplace Garmentory.
Bidnamic’s case studies on its website include a variety of SMEs in sectors, such as entertainment, industrial, clothing, food and leisure.
Bidnamic LLC was incorporated in August 2022, and is based at the Capital Factory, a hub and community for tech startups in Austin.
The Leeds-based firm seems to be doing pretty well, as in May it revealed a 100% year-on-year growth in turnover.
