Fintech Firm Contis Plans 123 New Jobs

Yorkshire-headquartered company will recruit the additional roles across the UK, Lithuania and India.

Yorkshire-headquartered fintech company Contis will increase its headcount by more than 33% over the next six months.

Contis, which is part of Berlin-based Banking as a Service platform Solarisbank, says it will recruit 123 additional roles across the UK, Lithuania and India.

Along with that good news, Contis intends to provide HR-focused investment in its current employees by 150% over the next 12 months. This includes a £150,000+ investment into a growth and development programme for its current 210 employees.

Kate Laidlow, Head of People and Culture, comments: “With so many different specialisms in the business, from highly technical roles to client service facing positions we want to ensure people can develop new skills and get access to training that supports them on their own individual career journey.”

According to Contis’ website, the firm has 200+ clients, 2.5+ million open accounts and €13 billion+ (£11 billion+) annual transactions.

Yorkshire’s tech scene is as lively as the nightlife in Leeds or Sheffield. Earlier this year, eWeek UK looked at various tech companies in Yorkshire and Leeds.
